Events
On Sunday 17th August 2008 the Society held it's 7th Annual bird Sale at the Queanbeyan Showground. After a cool, frosty start to the day, it evolved into an almost perfect day for a bird sale.
Over 800 birds were lodged by nearly 70 sellers, with approximately 450 people passing through the door. the clearance rate for birds sold was in excess of 70%. most sellers seemed very happy with their result.
We had seven trade stands and all reported brisk and good business

The society normally holds a BBQ as it's first event and meeting to commence a new year.
the long weekend in January has been the traditional date.
A decision will be made soon as to the actual date.
